As Head of Accounting and Regulatory Reporting you will have the overall responsibility for the accounting and regulatory function and ensure that the department complies with reporting standards and policies. Avida Finans is looking for an experienced accounting professional to contribute to Avidas further growth journey. As Head of Accounting and Regulatory Reporting you will have the overall responsibility for the accounting and regulatory function and ensure that the department complies with reporting standards and policies. As part of the leadership in the Finance department you will have an active role in Avida’s overall journey and execution of our strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the accounting and regulatory reporting team of 6 persons.
- Develop and optimize routines and procedures connected to regulatory reporting
- Oversee preparation and submission of regulatory reports.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with auditors and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting and analysis.
- Manage risk assessment and mitigation strategies in accounting processes.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a senior accounting role.
- Experience from banking is preferred.
- Strong knowledge or interest of regulatory reporting requirements from banking.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Good analytical skills
- Fluent in Swedish and English.
